Client: IXL Learning

Educational Video Content for K-12

I worked with IXL Learning to create educational videos that supplement online English Language Arts lessons for K-12 students. Check out a sample below, or click through to see each video in its full context on IXL’s website.

Video: Use Dashes

I initially storyboarded this video in Apple Keynote, then collaborated with IXL editors to finalize the script and design. Then I produced the fully animated video using Magic Move in Apple Keynote, recorded and edited the video in Camtasia, and did final polishing in Adobe Premiere. The video is now live on their website. Click “Watch a video” to access it.

Favorite part of this project: Experimenting with cute animations through Magic Move in Keynote.

Video: Identifying Pronouns and Their Antecedents

I storyboarded this video in Google Docs, then collaborated with IXL editors to polish the script. Then I produced the visuals in Google Slides, recorded and edited the video in Camtasia, and did final polishing in Adobe Premiere. The video is now live on their website. Click “Watch a video” to access it.

Video: Commas with Coordinate Adjectives

I created this video using Apple Keynote, Camtasia, and Adobe Premiere. The video is now live on their website. Click “Watch a video” to access it.

Favorite part of this project: Making the cute shape-shifting cardboard box example!
